I can remember going to my old Nan's for christmas......... These drinks were always on the menu!

A snowball!! (I Am still occasionaly partial to one!)

Dubonet & Lemonade (Yuk)



And Martini was a must!!

Yup, Snowball's always came out when we had visitors too. I used to love using the electric whizzer to mix them in the drink cabinet of the G-plan wall unit.

Used to always be that vile stuff like egg-nog or something in a bottle but can't remember what it was

my mother luurved advocaat...oooh yukk it was like thick raw egg.

My father drank stout and my granny had a ''wee sherry'. I remember those tiny little sherry glasses coming out when we had visitors...they had a little red band around the top and they sat in a round chrome holder on the sideboard!!

My Gran loved Snowballs made with Warninks Advocaat and Corona lemonade which she would stir up to make it all frothy, it was gorgeous!
She used to always let me have some whenever she made one.
