I started fancying people at a really young age, about 3 or 4. Some who I really liked (and still do!) were:

Ann-Marie Ruddock (singer from Amazulu)
Floella Benjamin
Rowena Wallace (Patricia in Sons and Daughters)
Meg Foster (Evil-Lyn in the Masters of the Universe movie)
Julie Newmar (The Catwoman in the 60s Batman series)
A girl I saw on an episode of Wogan in November 1989- been trying for years to find the episode so I can identify her but no luck as yet!

Then when I got older in the 90s:

Alanis Morissette
Shirley Manson (Garbage)
Saffron from Republica
Easther Bennett (Eternal)
Anna Friel
Michelle Gayle
Martine Beswicke (she was big in the 60s-70s but I only discovered her in the mid-90s!)
Talisa Soto
Musetta Vander

I still like all of these today.

Did anyone in the 80's or 90's look like the people they fancied? Even a slight resemblance? The only resemblance I had was probably the long curly hair of that era and eyebrows like Brooke Shields. I'd like to think I only look like me (a one off) but was once told I looked Spanish or Italian (probably the time I had curly hair)

When the Spice Girls first came out I got quite a few comments about resembling Posh. It was even funnier that we were both called Victoria. I had the dark bobbed hair, similar build and was a bit pouty and I even got my hair cut short at a similar time she did, but when she got super skinny and got the big bazooka boobs etc that spelled the end of the likeness!
