I hated worms as a kid--still ain't too keen on them now. Not sure why, perhaps the thought of them being slimy. Most other creepy-crawlies don't bother me, just worms and centipedes--I have been very wary of those nasty little things ever since I shook out a shoe and one fell out when I was in S.E. Asia.

Who remembers as a kid picking up worms & soil and swallowing them? It has ben said it is harmless & helps your immune system. My granny always said to me "It wont hurt you; It'll hurt the worm more" lol
