    Record-wise THE OSMONDS had become one of the hottest acts in the USA, but in Great Britain they still needed an opportunity to be seen. In May 1972 they came over for the first time and appeared before The Queen and Prince Philip at a TV Charity Gala Variety Show. 'Puppy Love' was the record that launched Donny in Great Britain and gave the start to Osmondmania.
