Adrian Love chairs Radio l's open discussion - an opportunity for schools and clubs to choose a subject, provide a panel and pick the programme's music.
High above Great Britain, suspended in a balloon, are the six leading personalities of 1980. A gust of icy wind suddenly tears at the overloaded rig. Slowly the balloon begins to sink. Who should go overboard to save the rest? Which person is more important for Britain's future? And will a mutiny in the basket send Adrian Love himself over the side?
