After spending a little time on this site All sorts of memories come flooding back.
I remember having a Betamax Video and going to the video shop to get a Animated puppet series (cant remember the name now) where the main characters flew seperate space ships and they could link them all together to make a robot.... it was filmed very much in the style of gerry anderson's thunderbirds.
Also remember anothe pupet animation where the goodies and baddies used to play noughts and crosses at the end of each episode.... and the ultimate bad guy had a gargelly voice and was called (i think) zelda
