There used to be a cosmetic toothpaste called Gordon Moore's. It was purple, I think and it tasted a bit like liquorice.

We have had several queries about the sudden disappearance from supermarket shelves of an extremely popular brand of cosmetic toothpaste. It contained a red coloring agent that enhanced gum and tooth contrast. It did not confer Dracula-like qualities. There is a French Product that does exactly the same job - It is called 'Email Diamant' - Strange name, I know but it does the trick - for suppliers just google it and you will find local sources.


Subject Gordon Moore's Toothpaste. Amazingly, I still have a tube...only a very little left but effective as ever. I am involved with a local theatre company throughout the Summer season and use a tiny amount for all stage appearances! If you do find out about a similar product I'd love to hear about it. It was made by Sara Lee 225 Bath Road Slough SL1 4AU tel. 01753 523971 -- Maybe if more than one of us contact them, they may think of bringing it back. OMG! I forgot about that! I had the third one in that picture(Dr Mopp). I recall it was apple flavour and foul! great find!

I agree they were awful and so was Punch and Judy toothpaste.

Hi, does anyone remember a toothpaste tube in the 60's & early 70's with a yellow screw top that had a rectangle on the top of it? If so, has anyone got one or more hanging around they want to sell?
I know it is a strange request, but you never know. I'm a modeller whos looking for 4 of these to complete a model, 1 would help as I can cast from it. Fingers crossed!
