This page should remind you all of watching BBC as a child and waiting for children's programs to start. My favourite is the BBC 2 clock of the 70s - the one that looks as if it was styled on a Benson & Hedges fag packet.

I remember the orange BBC one the best. Although, the worst clock in the world was the TV-AM (?) one - cos it told you it was almost time for school!

yeh I remember watching the schools programmes, and the countdown was a clock & the seconds vanished one by one as the hand went by

ooh learned some trivia there too...the scary clown/doll thing (from the test card with the little girl) was called 'Bubbles'
