They were Sinclairs big flop.
They were fun to ride but the idea was you could use them in traffic and they would be all energy efficient and that. Trouble was in traffic they are the most frightening thing possible. A big lorry passing could just about blow you over.
You got fumes in your face the whole time and if something hit you you would be mincemeat.
Good for a laugh thoughLaugh and the world laughs with you.
But do it all the time and they will lock you away.

I remember all the hype leading up to the unvail and the mass disappointment when it looked and drove like a toy go-cart. The water proof suits also made the driver look like a yellow gnome. Probably one of the most spectacular flops of all time? The eyes have it!

Here's one that will make you feel old.
I have just started doing some volunteer work in a local Museum. One of the displays they sometimes have on is of old toys and games etc. They have actually got on of the C5's (don't think it still runs though) that is put on display.
The 'old toy' display is an eye opener in itself. Really bad when a Museum has items on display that you actually used to own .Laugh and the world laughs with you.
But do it all the time and they will lock you away.
