Re: R I P David hedison
Very sad news. Yes, a good actor, best remembered as Lee Crane in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. His character was in the original film version, but Hedison didn't play him there. I seem to remember him turning up in a number of guest roles in US TV series in the 70s and 80s, but sadly he never really regained the fame he found with Voyage. The Irwin Allen TV series, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants were shown regularly on ITV in the 70s during afternoon kids' TV time and I have fond memories of running home from school to watch an episode. It's very sad that so many of the actors are no longer with us. RIP David Hedison.
