R I P Neil peart

A name many here may not be familiar with but a name that has been foremost to me for 40 years Neil peart drummer with canadian rock band Rush died on tuesday after a three year battle with brain cancer. Neil was recently voted amongst the top 5 drummers of all time and was recently inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame along with bandmates Alex lifeson and Geddy lee. Neil was highly respected amongst his peers and was considered a real gentleman in a genre usually associated with excess. Rush disbanded in 2015 after a 45 year career. Rest in peace Neil

Thankyou Sixtyten, Neil took the most basic of instruments (drums) and made them melodic and harmonius...the guy was a monster on drums and played his last tour of America in 2015 with crippling spondylitis but still managed a three hour show every night .... True legend right here !!!
