In the 70s our Woodwork teacher use to smoke a cigar in class (yes, Wood). The technician use to often come in and ask him to 'put that light out!'

Our maths teacher used to stink of ciggies, and she used to cadge them off students.

One of my old teachers let us smoke in his lesson,worse still was another teacher used to say"Before we start lets have a fag" ,on one occasion i was among a gang who got caught smoking by a teacher we got a letter home for parents to go into school and"discuss"our habit but my old dad knew i smoked went to the"discussion"and gave the said teacher a rollicking at the time it was pretty cool now looking back it was shocking
