the council where i live in bolton do anything to get a few quid together then they waste it on stupid things.

The other issue is physical education. Too many kids these days sit in front of their computers chatting to people around the world they see as friends.

Anyway back to the original topic: Children these days are not allowed under H&S legislation to climb trees; if they could that is. Also school's often cancel outings again because of H&S legislation and fear of being sued by chav parents. So that then leaves the internet & computer games. These same computer games there are children who don't understand the line between fantasy & reality; hence children acting out violence they see & play on these computer games.

So if not bring back playing fields then let these kids be taken out for sessions in your local authority or private leisure centre to swim & get fit

Thankfully all my schools that i went to still have there playing fields which is a shock but a good shock.

But yes lots of schools have got rid of them which is just so wrong.
