Do you remember the home internationals

Used to love the home internationals (especially beating Scotland, and no i can't remember 1977 at Wembley, honest), only wish they would bring it back maybe as a six nations with the Republic of Ireland and France.

Yes i remember it well.
it was so sad when it ended.

They sort of brought it back this year but england did not enter and the republic of ireland took there place.

i cannot see it coming back as i feel the football calendar is to full.

i do miss seeing by beloved northern ireland playing in it though.

It could be brought back if it was played every two years in between the World Cup & European Championship, would create some revenue for the respective FA's as well.

I think the violence in the 80s/90s had an impact on the decision to pull them..

funny enough they where brought back last year but england did not participate republic of ireland replaced them.

byt yes they where marred with violence in the old days which is sad.
