Remember this guy in the 80's?

Got golds and silvers for crown green bowling in Commonwealth games with his pipe smoking away

they prob wouldn't let him compete nowadays

He just kept it in his mouth unlit for the indoor matches. Not a big bowles fan but watched bits now & again.

he was my fave when i watched it in the eighties.
not sure what he does now.

he must have been in his fifties even in the eighties.
