Many people would say Pele, Cruyff or Best, but in my opinion the best player I have ever watched is Dennis Bergkamp. His sheer skill, vision and ball control was sublime.

Not seen many greats being a City fan so would have to go for Colin Bell."GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER"

I had such a crush on him in the 70s. Every time he came near me when I was stood in the North Bank I nearly swooned!

Re: Greatest football player
I remember waiting to get into the North Stand once and Nigel Winterburn pulled up in this old banger. He wasn't able to get into the players parking gate by the Gunners' Shop, and had to park it on the other side of Avenell Road. Everyone was laughing at him. He looked SO embarrassed!"Me fail English? That's unpossible!"
