I first got interested in tennis around the time of John McEnroe's "You cannot be serious!" outburst.

There was more to him than ranting though. His Wimbledon final v Connors in 84 was the most perfect example of how to play tennis ever, I don't think he made any mistakes at all. Connors was one of the gutsiest fighters ever, but that day McEnroe made him look like, well, me playing tennis. Mac should have retired at that moment, it was all downhill from then on, especially that quiz show with the heart monitor.
