    Tomorrows World lied.
DYR the time that they spread strawberry jam in to a C.D. and it was still able to play.
Now the slightest fingerprint and my C.D. player hiccups.
I've just bought a house. It's got a Buck Rogers Toilet. One yank, all gone!"

Yep, and I can remember them showing "instant" polaroid cameras, and sampling a dog bark into what must have been a Fairlight Sampler. I used to love TW, with the added bonus of TOTP's too on a Thursday

Loved watching TW, especially when stuff went wrong.

Does nnyone else remember the 'revelutionary' mechanical lamp post painter that they tried in vain to get working for the whole program. Every so often they would switch back to it to see it still not going anywhere.

                    Re: Tomorrows World

Apparently TW is on its way back. Although it won't be called Tomorrow's World and we can't expect Michael Rodd back on our screens. But it will be a popular tech/science show on the Beeb again.

They should just run the second series of Look Around You and see if anyone notices.

I always watched tomorrow's world at one time. I remember the 'indestructable' CD episode, and one featuring clear glass that could fog up at the flick of a switch. I think the latter won some award involving Prince Charles, but I'm still waiting to see it somewhere. My bathroom window for instance.
