A friend at school had one to the envy of other pupils. He had achieved A's in all his exams so his Dad bought him one as a gift for doing so well. His insurance must have been high as if you rent a car in that league the rental company will only hire to you as long as you are over 27 for insurance purposes
A well known case in Birmingham was when a father bought his son a Porsche 9-11. The kid showed off to his friends at the school gate & subsequently drove into his friends whilst revving the engine & slipping the clutch
Really the father was to blame. Why didn't he buy his son something like an Escort RS. Nice hot hatch car & not as powerful as a Porsche
I am surprised the insurance company agreed to insure the kid. The insurance company is at fault too
