for those that may not know,in hight of the vietnam war according to project blue book there was actually a ufo shot down by the amraican's(but it's all here say)and who know's about the majestic 12 and there cover up's?

No. It was a top secret spy balloon that collapsed and fell to earth, ripping on landing, hence all the foil. Foil, by the way, that was unheard of in the public sector at that time. The US let the conspiracy theorists have their glory to cover up the facts. Fairly common practice. And I am not anti UFO, I have actually stood and watched one for 35-40 minutes.

I don't know what is true and what isn't but I'm open to all suggestions. Having said that, I don't think we can be the only life form in the universe. I too have experience strange things, not necessarily UFO but odd things all the same. Maybe we should have a 'Things that go bump in the night/day or Ghostly/strange experiences' thread afterall Halloween is nearing

I've never seen anything strange myself but I do believe there might be something out there. You just have to google UFO sightings and there is a lot of weird stuff going on that can't always be explained. I don't think we're in danger though. I reckon 'they' just come for a nose about and a laugh. Some alien chancer probably has some bargain day trips going. Visit the Earth and laugh at how primitive they are!

Hey! you're sounding like the 'Smash' Ad! I recently watched 'I know what I saw' and found it interesting.
I sometimes listen to a few paranormal ilk podcasts. Some are off the wall but others are really interesting. Whether it be ufo's, ghosts, animal mutilation or crop circles there are believeable and ridiculous stories about all of them, whether I'm convinced about some or not is a different matter. The house I used to live in went back to Cromwells day and is listed in the DoomsDay book. I mentioned it in a previous thread. There were definitely some strange goings on there!!!

I have an avid interest in Aviation 1940 onwards, and have heard quite a few encounters by level headed Fighter Pilots and I dont think anything can be ruled out, I shall keep an open mind on this subject.

I reckon that Area 51's where the US make THEIR WMD and nukes. Why else d'you think THEY don't like UN Weapons inspectors inspecting THEM? but then again, there's a superb chill out resort called Las Vegas (I'm sure there's a thread for a TV programe od the same name) in Nevada.

I seen a ufo about 20 years ago, it was mid winter about 7pm and it was dark outside, i was alone walking down a quiet road to my mothers house when in my peripheral view hovering very low at about 500ft i saw a pitch black wedge shaped object, it had no lights and made no sound,then it was gone. This all happened in the space of 10 seconds, i told my wife and she laughed,i told my mother and she laughed but thats fine because i know what i saw and if people can't accept the possibility of extraterestrial life thats not my problem
