Just a quick introduction.
We are Mick and Mags plus our two dogs Poppy and Abbey. We both retired early from a life working in higher education and now we live aboard our boat for the warm months March-October. The boat is 51ft long and is very comfortable to be on at any time of the year. We return home for the colder months - though we do like to holiday somewhere warm for a couple of months Jan-Feb. We are moving around on the canals and rivers of the UK. When the rivers are in flood, you will find us moving along on the canals. This year since the beginning of March we have done about 600 miles. Currently we are in the Midlands and heading up the canals and rivers at the west side of the country.
We have a wide range of interests including all periods of history, so do you remember seems quite appropriate.
