The MkII had normal cable brakes as the Mk1 before it I think. The swing (chopper style-ish) bike had pedal back brake.

I havn't seen one of those for a loooong time. I used to know someone who had one and he could wheelie it with the 'swing' unlocked. Mind you he could wheelie any cycle/motorcycle he got on. It was said if you gave him a unicycle he could wheelie that!
