Have had such fun the last couple of hours, browsing around -- gosh, my childhood memories are being stirred: LOVELY! Hi Cooldeepblue: thanks for the welcome; and you are so right ... stumbled across many things I thought I'd forgotten but hadn't ..the brain is a funny thing! This site is taking me on a grand trip down memory lane! For example, the pictures of the old sweet/chocolate wrappers are a killer! Topic, Cabana and Old Jamaica ... can still taste them even now! I've lived in Austria for many years, but when I have returned to the UK and sought out old favourites, the horrible truth emerges that the quality has gone downhill since all those great British confectionery companies have been taken over by these nasty conglomerates ...nothing tastes like it used to on the confectionery front, sadly. But this site stirs fond memories of childhood and careless days.
