    Eyeball Eyeball

    Hi there,

    Hope all's well.

    I'll be swift. I loved CB Radio Card from the 80s. So much so, I'm creating a book to celebrate the culture of CB radios across Great Britain in the 1980s.

    Inspired by the amazing artwork of Eyeball cards, I'm aiming to interview enthusiasts to get a real insight from the people who did it, and explore the cards themselves.

    If anyone knows of any cards or CB users from back in the day, it'd be amazing to hear from them (or you, depending).

        Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

                  Twocky61, I lived in "The other side" I even served in the Soviet Army we were more afraid of the Yanks than you were of us, I saw "Doctor Strangelove" as a real threat

                      I still believe that it was a possibility, especially with that idiot Kennedy in charge, with he and his familie's extreme right wing leanings, (Remember his father kept the USA out of WWii because of his support for the Nazis) his invasion of Cuba, OK by proxy, but he WAS behind it and his nearly starting WWiii over the Cuban's missiles, everyone forgets that HE had missile in Turkey which had a land Border withe USSR, so what was OK for him was wrong for Castro.
                      Kennedy's real hatred of Castro was because Castro kicked out Kennedy's buddy Batista, whose regime ran the gambling, drugs and prostitution in Cuba, for rich Americans to enjoy

                          about as much as your comments about ICMBs, which is what prompted my comments about Dr.Strangelove
