I was always surprised the Dolly Dots didn't have any hits in the UK, especially as the likes of Tracey Ullman and even Wham! were doing well with similar 60's Mowtowny-girl-groupy songs. I went on a few cross-channel school trips in the 80s and as soon as you get off the ferry, The Dolly Dots were everywhere!
