    Re: Room 101

Oh dont get me started on the neighbours, i sooo agree!

1.. MY neighbours, both sides!... oddly enough they are the only people on the entire planet that i do not like and they had to move next door to me, one lot came all the way from Australia just to bug me !!!!!!!

2.. BAD drivers of all description!.... even those on disability scooters, my mother is one so i feel able to comment.

3.. Those packages that are sealed hard plastic, the ones you have to take scissors to to get into... why do they have to do that?

4.. Rudeness... in any shape or form

5.. People who dont appreciate their kids, you see way too many parents who dont seem to have the time of day for their kids.... so sad
Whoever said nothing is impossible never tried slamming a revolving door!

      Re: Room 101

With all of you so far, my additions are.

      1. People who listen to music on mobile phones on buses. Usually sat at the back up stairs.

      2. Ignorance/Rudeness in any form.

      3. People who think the rules don't apply to them i.e. que jumpers etc.

      4. Mother in laws. I've had two and they have both been absolute nightmares at times. BVy the way I'm sure they are some great ones so I suppose this catagory should just be 'My Mother In Laws'

      5. Stupidilly placed advert breaks on the telly. You get the intro to the show, 2 mintues of the program and then adverts. (this is normally on the cable channels)
Laugh and the world laughs with you.
But do it all the time and they will lock you away.

LOL Agree with all of these...isn't it weird that we ALL seem to hate the same things but everyone is still obviously doing them!! Ok mine are...

Sport on TV and News, should be a dedicated sports channel for it all!

Pensioners who have nothing better to do but DIY (especially on Sunday mornings!!!!!!....and then move next door to me.

Sand! Whoever thought this stuff was nice between your toes? It gets EVERYWHERE and spoils beaches!

Wasps....why oh why didn't we exterminate the little ***** years ago!

Parents who let their kids kick the back of MY chair on a plane!

Ahhh....feel better for getting that off my chest

            Re: Room 101

Here's mine in no particular order.

1 Jonathon Ross. Is there a more sicophantic interviewer on tv? He slates somebody on Film 200? and then weeks later has them on his show and creeps like mad. His interview with Gwyneth Paltrow was excruciating. Can't stand him and have to turn off.

2 Russell Brand. Very annoying and unfunny.

3 Strawberries. Can't stand em or anything strawberry related.

4 Like overuse of like the word like and stuff. This really grates along with raisng the tone at the end of a sentence and use of "and stuff". It seems that like all like teenagers and stuff speak like this these days innit. WTF? Marissa, if you speak in this manner, dad won't be happy!

5 Adverts during the first 15 minutes of live football broadcasts. Do we really need 2 ad breaks? We didn't used to have.

I'm sure i could think of several more but that'll do for now.

              Re: Room 101

              1. Mobile phones, especially bluetooth ones that encourage the socially inept to wander round talking to themselves. Besides, what's wrong with having a bit of freedom, why do we need to be contactable every frickin minute of every frickin day (and breathe).

              2. Those satellite channels that make a half an hour programme last two hours because they chuck adverts in after every bloody sentence. And Setanta with their England match theft, a pox on all their houses.

              3. Young nobheads that say like and innit a hundred times a sentence and always out of context.

              4. The obscene amounts of money in football that ruin the game and allow pumped up pampered ponces like Ronaldo and Drogba to exist in luxury while the people that pay their wages trot home to their two up two downs and wonder whether they can afford to feed the kids this week having taken them to the game. And any club that blames their failings on anything but their own poor performance whether it be in one game (the Wembley pitch may have been poor, Alex, but Everton were out there as well and they won, live with it; yes, Chelsea, he was a rotten ref, but if Drogba had stayed on his feet in the area occasionally, he might have scored) or over the course of a season (Sheffield United, Neil Warnock, I'm looking at you).

              5. Mariah Carey.

                Re: Room 101

                1. Check-out operators in supermarkets who bleep all your items through so quickly you have to catch them before they get mixed up with the items of the person just ahead of you, then tutt at you when you take three extra seconds to find your debit card.

                2. People in the street that don't understand the response to that moment when you each go to walk in the same direction and end up doing a little dance. The respose is a smile and a sorry. I know this. Why don't they?!

                3. As arod said, the continuous recapping and repetition on TV shows.

                4. Anything that tastes of aniseed. Agh! *shivers*

                5. (I'll think of one. ...I will. Just give me time.)

                  Re: Room 101

                  hmm let me see..

                  1) poor/bad manners (not the group)

                  2) all reality tv/talent shows...where has the creativity gone? (too many channels & nowt to fill 'em with...telly was better when there were only 3 channels

                  3) Sky....for being the cause of 2) above. (oh and where have all the b&w films gone? As I tell my kids, just because its not in colour doesn't mean the story/plot is poor...often the opposite!) Sky just endlessly recycle US films made since year 2000..oh and they've RUINED footy

                  4) People who wind their car window down & throw out whatever rubbish they have...has ANYONE ever been ticketed for this??. Littering in general..this country is so filthy (not helped by the flytippers down every lane)

                  5) Claims companies/ambulance chasers....here's a great example why: my mates' brother..a druggie who, whilst high on smack one night, stole a car with his mate (also high). Speeding, they then clipped a parked car & crashed; both badly hurt but he scarpered & left his mate in the car....wait for the great ending.....

.......both got cautions...and then promptly SUED the owner of the car they clipped ('poorly parked') and my mate's brother was awarded £30,000....

...as an extra kicker...he would have received £35k but he wasn't wearing his seatbelt

Prob loads more, but I feel wound up now

...or maybe four. When Channel 4 first came on air they had some good alternative stuff. If they had stuck to the original remit and style, I think a four channel service would have been just right.

The multi-channel universe can be my fifth option for Room 101!

                      Re: Room 101

Channel Four - there's an episode of Room 101 just right there!

1 Despite having had multiple seasons of Big Brother, they still have no idea as to how to schedule the final - which is easy. Don't bother.

2 Will happily air 'documentaries' on sex and violence in movies as being bad - knowing full well that the only reason people are tuning in is to watch the sex and violence.

                      3 Factual programme bias.

4 Stuck up as all hell, yet back in the beginning aired such delights as Naked Yoga. At 3 in the morning. Presumably so they could claim to be risky, whilst no one was up at that time that would be interested in complaining.
