I'm trying to remember a show that was on BBC in the early 2000s (yeah I know it doesn't fall under the scope of this site, but that's still 10 years ago!). It would usually be on weekday evenings around 6-7pm iirc?
Anyway it was a fly on the wall type show that would get "dateless wonders" (usually in their 30's and 40's) to smarten up their appearance and get back out on "the scene" to chat up people and then go on a date at the closing section of the episode.
The host was an Australian woman who is a quite familiar face but I just can't for the life of me remember her name. I think she was some sort of sexual/relationship therapist or something. She had black hair if that helps.
