It's gone far too commercialised now. It was once about having a bit of fun, a party and perhaps really frightening some unsuspecting grown up. The idiots have now taken over. Getting wrecked seems to be part and parcel of everything.

is halloween just another thing we decided to celebrate it seems more of an american thing.
I think its something fairly recent for us say 30 odd yrs but something americans have celebrated for much longer.

Reason i bring it up is it was mentioned on the radio.

Yes it is but it always ends up in good old blighty
It is also now more adult oriented dressing up excuse to get wrecked

Some ghastly pictures of binge drinkers around the country women wearing white dresses with red paint looking like blood splattered over them,were wolf masks dreadful, turning fun into horror stories.

I mean it has turned from kids fun dressing up to more adults getting wrecked.I think the world has gone mad in many ways

I always kinda forget halloween partly because its near christmas i think. When kids start dressing up i remember it.
And lots of ads on tv as well.

how it comes around so quick this year has flown by again.

The neighbours have decorated their windows etc

there seems to be more outfits in shops than last year

We only had one squad actually make it all the way to our door so we decided they deserved the sweeties we gave them...!

costumes was very good this year like something out of zombie films good work to all those ppl
