  • Talk about Gems

I love the colour of Gem stones, watched a programme a few months ago about the experts who go around the world hunting for gems.

Emeralds have a beautiful green colour the best are from South America.

When there is nothing on tv I browse on rock.co or gems shopping channel

Somebody at work gave me a small Tiger's Eye gemstone years ago. I really loved the different colours (golden/reddish brown) on the stone.

It's amazing how interesting the shopping channels are - I love watching them even though I have no intention in buying anything

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

My particular favourite is turquoise. I especially love Native American silver and turquoise jewelry. At the antiques centre where my dealer's stall is there's a jeweler who has a 24 carat gold and turquoise ring that I have my eye on. Unfortunately, it's £464.
