Hi all
The number of posts on this great forum containing links to porn, drug and investment sites seems to be increasing daily. This is not intended in any way to be a criticism of our moderators who do a wonderful job (for nothing, not even thanks usually, believe me I do know!) but is it perhaps the way people are allowed to join DYR? At the moment it seems fairly easy for someone to join, make one post containing links to their dubious sites and disappear, perhaps it's time DYR introduced some sort of vetting prior to accepting members. Over at ClubNostalgia (for those EVEN OLDER among us
) you have to apply, be accepted (or not) and only then can you post and they have no spam at all, or if they do I've never seen it. Also we can all help the mods by reporting bad posts as soon as we see them (I've found at least 6 since yesterday) by clicking the little red triangle towards the upper right. It's such a shame that a good site is being targetted like this
