My mam has given me her sewing machine as she can't use it now and I have no idea where to start? I broke the school ones by just looking at them but I really want to try and get some cool 80s fabric to make some stuff from old patterns. Any ideas where I can source some quality ones or get hold of tutorials that make sense and don't just rush through what they're saying would be much appreciated.
I don't know if I'll manage it tbh so don't want to spend much on tools. My first thought had been to sell the machine but then I thought I'd be demolishing the principal of "teaching a man to fish" so to speak.
