Forgotten rock vocalists - that are still around

Following on from the rock singers thread and noting everybodies different choices, I was thinking about those bands from the 70's that disappeared from sight,only for the singer or main man to be discovered still going.

Here's a couple of examples.

The guy from 70's rock/pop band Smokie. Name of Chris Norman. Was in the band for a few years/hits in their early days, yet when the band lost popularity, Chris Norman ploughed on and produced a lot (and I mean a lot) of records (albums) of his own. Indeed he brought one out recently, which I will hunt down. Check him out :

Yet no-one I know has ever heard of him. Smokie, yes, but not him.

Another one that sprang to mind is Daryl Braithwaite.

Who ? You ask.

Well, Daryl Braithwaite was once the lead singer of a pop-rock band Sherbet. Remember 'Owzat' ? He actually went solo and had moderate success a lot like Chris Norman, yet his output wasn't as prodigious. He is still around (looking very different of course, but at least Chris Norman kept all his own hair) and had an album out in 2013. Well worth looking out for if you liked his voice.
