  • Who likes to Talk

With all this gaget and technology world facebook twitting etc which I have no interest,People do not talk like they used to and I am not the only one who says this, especially the younger generation more interested in gaming etc and not leaving their phones alone when families get together.
It is good to chat face to face how times have changed,I still love the past regarding tv programmes, films, music books etc.

I don't mind the odd text, but prefer a good conversation. I've watched people in cafes etc. texting whilst in company of others. Unless urgent, it's very ignorant.
Who cared about rules when you were young?

I plead guilty on this front too. I sometimes pick up my mobile whilst in conversation with the person with me & especially on my own waiting to meet some one

Similar to Amethyst, on my free mobile bundle, I receive the unlimited free landline minutes & 120 free mobile minutes for the following month for just £10 (for an extra fiver 3000 texts too). Just like being on contract but with the added bonus you keep the £10/£15 so making it a free contract but on PAYG. The only things I spend that credit on is international texts (20p) & international phone calls & voicemail (26p fixed; not by the minute which some networks do. A little trick that sometimes works (with Virgin anyway. Dial your own number which sometimes goes to voicemail. With this you are avoiding the fixed 26p as you are using some of your free mobile minutes. This does not always work as often rejects call; but worth a try at any rate.

Little trick you can pull with the network when you change your number where your original number has freebies still on it: Phone your mobile CS and ask for the freebies on your original number to be carried over to your new number. They will tell you this is not possible. Ask them why? And they will give you, say, 40 goodwill minutes and again a month later lol

Do you really believe the other side without provocation would launch so many ICBM's, subs and ships knowing that we would have no option to launch as well? It would break our MAD Treaty (Mutually Assured Destruction) not to mention the end of the world as we know it.

Fancy a laugh which is sad at the same time? Check around you on your commute and see how many people are buried in their phones!
Time flies like the wind, fruit flies like bananas - go figure!
