I liked the first version of that painting in #48 - I wonder whether it was supposed to be an evening or a morning sky? Red sky at night, etc.

Gives a double meaning to the phrase "the early bird catches the worm", doesn't it?
I think that it must have been a morning sky then.

It is a bit better, but even without any birds in the sky it still looks good.

On a serious note .. I saw a documentary on landscapes and the artist explained that when you look into the sky you see a bird / birds 99.9999 % of the time and that’s why they add them into their works ..
