How shops have changed with points cards,was Tesco the first supermarket to introduce club cards points when you shop,they started this in the early 1990,s.Followed by Boots,Sainsburys,Morrisons more card,Superdrug,M& S sparks card,Wyevale garden centre,Brewers Fayre eaters,think with H & M fashion is apps on your smart phone.

Don't use them the rewards are to small to be bothered, i went into Wynsors shoe shop a while back and on purchasing a pair of shoes i was asked for my loyalty card, i explained that i diden't have one and the assistant went on to explain that once i had bought ten pairs of shoes i could claim a 10% discount!...it would take me ten years

I have a Tesco Clubcard but I only use it when paying for items - I don't really spend much on it.

Even if you shop at Matalan, you need a store card as a customer.

Does the Coop still have the Dividend card? - also, whatever happened to WHSmith's Clubcard? Used to buy so much stuff, usually stationery and magazines from Smith's. I assume that they had to change it because Tesco's was also called Clubcard and they didn't want customers to think that there was some connection between the two where they were not.

I had a WhSmith one too.Morrisons had a petrol think it was called miles more but it could take a long time to build up 5000 points for £5 voucher to spend in store.Then they introduced morrisons more card many years later when they had points on items in store especially if it was 1000 points then it didn't take long to build up 5000 for your £5 vouchers I would keep them and use them xmas time.They no longer do this

Out of the main supermarkets, Asda doesn't have one of those cards - the Morrisons one didn't last very long did it? I think that Safeway had one until the Morrisons takeover.

I have still got the Iceland card in my wallet, although it's been a couple of years since I have been there - I hope it's still valid.
