I have never set foot inside an Aldi - I mostly do Tesco or Asda.
I've everything I need to keep me satisfied
There's nothing you can do to make me change my mind
    I'm having so much fun
    My lucky number's one
    Ah! Oh! Ah! Oh!

I suppose that we have New Year to "look forward" to now?

Watched the concert from Vienna this morning (I always have the earworm of The Blue Danube when I watch it). And saw Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby's New Year Message (on BBC 2 as I saw BBC 1 Scotland's Resolutions earlier).

I always find New Year messages from religious and political leaders insightful and optimistic as a way of moving ahead, especially in the changing landscape that we have had over the past few months. It's a bit like buying a new item and the message is some sort of instruction manual as to how to cope with all the changes that has just happened.

I might see those Irish TV channels for myself later on in the year - I am thinking of visiting Belfast in August to see Dirty Dancing at the Grand Opera House for my birthday. I assume that Northern Ireland Premier Inns will have them on their room TV sets.

It's a shame Cora the little girl in 1997 Titanic never had the career of a Michelle Trachtenberg. She certainly was pretty enough that you'd think directors would be falling over themselves:

I think the ship sinks but that could just be a false spoiler.
