I wouldn't rush. It just doesn't feel it has the same quality, jingles and effects sound cheap and cheesy. Questions aren't the same quality either. Generally poorly copied and dumbed down. Add to that the 'in association with', 'sponsored by', and 'win money', that goes with the rest of the station and it equals a big let down. Sorry Ken, you know where you should be.

BBC news reports 'Greatest hits radio - Ken Bruce Show' under Ofcom investigation apparently.

I don't listen to GHR (nor do I listen to Vernon Kay either on Radio 2), and so I only found out about it via the BBC Entertainment page. The nature of the investigation sounds interesting; rather like something that would come from J Vine's show rather than a Bruce one as it doesn't sound like something that he would have done on his Radio 2 show. It would be interesting what will happen there though.

Looks like the transformation of Radio 2 into an un-listenable clone of Radio 1 is now complete.

Yes, it's nothing like the Radio 2 that I associate with - even Zoe Ball is leaving just before Christmas. Instead of Radio 2 mid-mornings, I mostly listen to Nicky Campbell on Five Live instead.
