Help Pub Quiz

help needed.....I'm helping my son organise a charity football match with eats and a pub quiz later. Its been a while since I've put together a quiz but most of my boxes of questions are still quite relevant etc so no probs there. However the music intro's (which is always popular) I've done on cassettes in the past!!! To turn this old yin into 21st Century Boy how can i capture the short intro's from my music collection onto CD? I've a PC am fairly PC literate and use SONIC to ahemmm copy CD's Any Gurus out there can offer some advice?

Rip the tracks, to MP3 format. Then use this to cut out the intro

Took a bit trial and error but worked a treat once i got into it...thanks
