I may be wrong or finding an excuse for a bad memory,but we must have had a different way of life down here as I cant remember much of what is discussed on here.Maybe a result of too much partying in the 90s.

Where I'm from ( 30 mile from the Border with the bagpipe-stranglers) your location is near enough in the Midlands

I think TV was a lot more regional in the 70's through to 80's. When we moved from the Midlands to Somerset in 1975 they hadn't even heard of programs like Tiswas down here. Tiswas didn't actually reach the South West until the late 70's.Comment

My girlfriend is from the new forest,hampshire and her programming was different to mine,(they have similar accents though,"tractor driver accents")
