    To be British IMO is to be tolerant, decent, courteous and efficient.
    3. What words or images come to mind when you think of Britain?
    Red post boxes

    Freezing fog

    Bowler hats & brollies
    Fish & chips with mushy peas

    the Guardian

      to me british is just another term for english i do not class myself as british
      2. What does it mean to you?
      it means being polite, pompous, arrogant
      3. What words or images come to mind when you think of Britian?
      the queen, big ben, black hackneys, house of commons, greasy spoon cafes,
      fish n chips, union jack, cuppa tea, "ave it", "oi oi savaloy", "knees up mother
      brown", "cor blimey", etc
      4. Which country/city are you in?
      Glasgow , Scotland
      5. Age?

        3. What words or images come to mind when you think of Britian? black cabs, fish and chips, the queen, cold weather, london, scones and tea, coronation street
        4. Which country/city are you in? Staffordshire in the UK

          Tea, Fish & Chips, rubbish weather, kiss me quick hats and fat women in leggings and all things Chav.
          2. What does it mean to you? Sadness that the old image of bowler hats, cheerfulness and polite courteous people are almost extinct.
          3. What words or images come to mind when you think of Britain? Filthy, divided, overcrowded, expensive, scroungers paradise.
          4. Which country/city are you in? Village in Lincs

              1. What is British to you? Fish and chips, a full English breakfast, cricket, Winston Churchill, the seaside, pantomimes, Admiral Nelson.
              2. What does it mean to you? Home, bad weather, queues.
              3. What words or images come to mind when you think of Britian? Post Boxes, Police without guns, the Bobby on the beat, Big Ben, The Queen, Black Cabs, London's red buses.
