Trace Elliots and Gibsons, very nice, but do you know how to use them?
All my stuff is cheap firewood. I had the chance to buy a Les Paul but found I wasn't interested.
I play a cheap Peavey Tupelo most of the time, an Epiphone Gibson copy and a reasonably prised Yamaha bass. I sometimes play a nylon string classical a friend picked up for me in a junk shop.
I also have various percussion intruments such as bongos etc, and a bodhran (Irish folk drum) that I am still learning.
But I have got some home-recording gear: Tascam 788 with burner, pod xt, tc electronics fx, other fx and various processors, pedals, preamps, mics etc.
Good stuff! There is something about the bass, its a feel aswell as a sound.Im no fan of jazz but it has the best bass lines around in my opinion.
Skip to 5.00 to hear the couple of minutes that told me to get a bass back in the 80s... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9l_jagbHRo

Don't really know where to post this, so sticking it on existing thread.
I hate linking to sites i'm not sure of, but this guy does not seem to be on YT.
He does fretless lessons, and his Mick Karn stuff is pretty much spot on
Mick Karn is a unique fretless player, but still not a unique as my Fav fretless player, and no.. its not Jaco..
Mine is welsh wizard Percy Jones.. that man does things with Wals, that defy logic
