Let's Carry On.

As this is a UK forum it makes sense that we should have a game featuring that iconic series of Carry On films. This zany, bawdy, farcical..full of inuendo 32- film franchise entertained us for almost three decades. The extraordinary popularity of Carry was, in my view, down to the rapport by its core ensemble cast..Sid James, Joan, Sims, Kenneth Williams, Barbara Windsor, Charles Hawtrey and the wonderful Hattie Jacques.
You can post a screenshot/gif, bio, synopsis, trivia..in fact whatever comes into your mind.

First question: Name the two men behind the Carry On phenomenon. What were their roles?

Jim. Terry Scott. Were they really core members of the ensemble? Could also have added Kenneth Connor as he was one of the originals. Do you wanna post something Moonraker?

I have the box set of Carry Ons. It is interesting to listen to the commentary as some cast discuss a particular film. I recall Jim Dale quoting a joke by Kenneth Williams.

An old lady walks in to the department store Fortnam and Masons. She approaches an assistant.
Lady: Aw much for yer cabbages?
Assistant: For you madam, £4
Lady: £4, you can shove it up yer ****
Assistant: I would madam but I have a cucumber up there already.

Right - this one is a bit of a stinker, but never mind:

Long before Rowan Atkinson's famous character of Mr Bean, there have been two Carry On Characters called Mr Bean. Name both the Carry On films that they appeared in, and also the actors who played both characters.

Correct - I actually thought that the Carry On Again Doctor character was more difficult as Forsyth wasn't credited and that Mr Bean was only mentioned in dialogue, but you did manage to answer correctly. Well done.

Neither did I until I just researched it online for this thread - I knew about Hawtrey, but not Forsyth.
