Don't you have them Steve ? They are quite big over here and have been for several years now. They sell organic foods and everything healthy like oat meal, bran,brown rice. pasta, pills and potions i.e. cod liver oil tablets and vitamin tablets etc., slimming aids, herbs, spices etc.,etc.........

Hmmmm just been surfing and it seems you are rather lagging in the Health Store department in Oz, though there are a few ! Seems you were on the right track though - malt extract does seem to be offered in your Home Brewing stores

I think you missed my Joy. There is a health food shop not far from where I live. I just havn't been there, that's all. Will pay them a visit today and see what they've got. Otherwise I will just take a chance on the bag of Light Dry Malt that I saw in the supermarket home brew section.

Well, I asked in the health food shop and they were no help whatsoever, so I've gone for the supermarket stuff. All the ingredients are now in the pantry. I've just got to put them all together now.
