The Petticoat magazine was I think, produced by Biba It was the next step up from Jackie. Once you had turned 16 it was time to graduate. Oh I loved it. Glamorous,sophisticated (so I thought) and a mine of wonderful information on things like "how to tan" (using olive oil and vinegar). There was no skin cancer then see...wasn't invented. And lovely adverts of girls with Sunsilk hair plus articles on how to get that hair.I think I paid 6d for it? I had a stack of them under my bed.I could have been a millionaire!!
