  • Dippity Do

This Hair Gel had one of the best names for a product EVER!Dippity Do, was a hair Gel that was available from the local "budget saver" (The Equivalent of Poundland in the 1970's and 80's).I was MAD for the spiky hair look, and I used so much of the stuff. It was only 50p a pot, but it used to make your hair as hard as nails. though as soon as you crushed your hair the shape went. Also, if it rained, the Dippity Do came off which meant that it would slowly drip down your face leaving it all sticky. Eargh!

    Re: Dippity Do

Well off topic but when I saw this thread the first thing I thought of was the 90's cartoon 'Madeline' and Gerard Dippetydo, a thinly disguised Gerard Depardu who frequently cropped up in the story line. Liked that show, even though I was way too old for it.
