British TV series made by Yorkshire TV in late 60's - early 70's. A Lovely story about the adventures of a teenage boy (16 year old), who is sent to his relatives in the Yorkshire Countryside during World War I as he was too young to help fight. The story tells of his childhood antics working on a farm helping to produce the nation's food production. The farm was situated next to a prisoner of war camp where many Germans were held captive.Set against lovely scenery. I always remember title and rushing home from school to watch "Tom Grattan's War"Ahhhh memories eh !!!
