Who remembers the BBC children's television programme "The Double Deckers" with Melvyn Hayes et al. It has developed a cult following now and has its' own website. There was a very chubby kid amongst them, who was forever eating! They don't make programmes like that any more!

Indeed I do. I dated the daughter of Melvyn Hayes' brother - met him at her wedding many years later and he was a thoroughly nice chap.

What scares me is seeing how old Scooper is these days (Spooks, South riding) because it reminds me how old I am!
