Everyone in my family spent loads of time building things with Construx, and even now it's still one of the best construction sets around. Construx came with many different sizes of girders, there were rods, wheels, hinges, ropes, pulleys and cute little men to operate whatever it was you built.The instruction sheet had all sorts of neat ideas for things to build - the T. Rex with pulley-operated moveable jaw was a favourite!
