Up The Elephant and Round The Castle

Jim Davidson played an out of work man who is left a Victorian house by his Aunt Minnie when she dies. It was set in the East End in the Elephant And Castle area of South London. It had really fake props and scenery if I remember rightly. He had a squatter living upstairs and bad neighbours. It just seemed to be the same jokes every episode, but there was only a couple of locations in the whole series.I may be wrong as I was very young at the time so my memory of it is quite vague.
