Gotcha was the poor man's paintball. Gotcha guns came in either orange/yellow and grey or maroon and grey, and they fired small paint pellets from black disks which had to be boiled in water before you could play.Sadly, they rarely worked and even when they did work properly, it was difficult to see where you'd been hit because the paintballs were so dimly colored. Included in the Gotcha! set you'd get a Commando gun and a cleaning kit, there was also a pair of goggles to keep eyes protected as well as Commander Targets and a Gotcha! Pennant. Gotcha! wasn't really intended to be a toy for youngsters and the box marked it as being for "ages 16 and up", presumably to avoid any nasty law suits.
